With the release of "Never Works Out", Fitzkee Brothers bring out a bit of a heavy hitting tonality that still touches on their youthful and energetic approaches and breeds loads of that classic Fitzkee Bros soul you expect and love from the band.

The song ushers in a fresh era for Fitzkee Brothers and their addictive and soulful southern rock sound..

The Fitzkee Brothers are known for their original, high-energy, highly improvisational
performances that blend classic rock spirit and old-school funk with a modern jam band edge.
On Spotify, The Fitzkee Brothers’ breakout hit Give You All My Love has already racked up
over 150K streams and continues to accelerate. Their song Lakesong, with over 47K streams,
has also earned major exposure, currently on Spotify’s “Modern Jam Band” editorial playlist &
their song Memphis was added to Joe Bonamassa’s “Top Shelf Americana” playlist. These
milestones reflect the band’s rapidly growing footprint and the strong resonance their music has
with both jam-rock and Americana audiences.

Inspired by the sounds of The Allman Brothers Band, The Grateful Dead, Parliament
Funkadelic, The Meters, Tedeschi Trucks Band, and The Band, the Brothers also channel the
explosive energy of performers like Jimi Hendrix and Foo Fighters. Their musicianship has led
to standout moments—most notably being invited twice to jam with Post Malone in his private
jam room, where he said, “You guys are like the mini F’ing Allman Brothers!”
Industry veteran Jim Ebert (Cue Sound Studios) describes them succinctly as “I hear Allman
Brothers meets Foo Fighters.”

The Fitzkee Brothers perform regularly with second generation members of the Allman
Brothers Family including Melody Trucks, Berry Duana Oakley (Live Dead and Brothers), Duane
Betts, Devon Allman, and Lamar Williams Jr. (Allman Betts Family Revival). They’ve headlined
a Pennsylvania festival with Melvin Seals, and Ron Holloway, and have opened for and shared
stages with legends such as Duane Betts, George Porter Jr., Robert Randolph, Live Dead &
Brothers, and Dumpstaphunk. Festival appearances include Ramble Fest, Flo Jam Festival,
Philadelphia Folk Festival, Sunshine Get Down, as well as headlining the Monkton Music
Festival (2026), Delmarva Folk Festival, Sunshine Get Down and Toast & Jam Music Festival.
Their core lineup features Drew Fitzkee (bass/vocals), Alex Fitzkee (drums/vocals), and a
rotating cast of exceptional collaborators including Joe Marcinek (Dead Funk Summit), Jonathan
Sloane (Anders Osborne), Isaac Hadden, Will Bart (North Mississippi Allstars), and Jaden
Lehman (Oteil & Friends). The Brothers also frequently tour with Melody Trucks, daughter of
legendary Allman Brothers Band drummer “Butch” Trucks and continue to explore a wide
range of musical collaborations.

The Brothers have released six singles and are close to completing their first full length album.
They also have plans to record a second vinyl record with Melody Trucks this spring at FAME
Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
