With the release of “Shoreline”, Ted Stanley delivers some of the best elements of classic folk, contemporary pop, and Americana with a robust but smooth soundscape and descriptive lyrics, letting you paint a vivid picture in your head as the song unfolds,.

The single serves as a taste of his upcoming album and with it, gives off an engulfing and cinematic backbone, rich with warm tone and texture from beautiful instrumentation and performances.

Ted Stanley began writing songs in New York as a way to deal with emotional times and found it to be an outlet that helped him.

"'Bottle in my Hand' was written after a dear friend lost his battle with drug and alcohol abuse. He died in the harsh winter 1999 on the streets of Manhattan, homeless and alone. `The cause of death was registered as hyperthermia, but the real cause was the insensitivity of his 'friends' who failed to notice how far he had deteriorated.  ' Bottle' was  my way of dealing with the guilt," explains Ted.

He soon began recording his music and collaborating with others to create, almost always drawing from life experience and those who surround him.

"Shoreline" marks a change in direction of both musicality and purpose: writing about the things that matter to me," says the songwriter.

The single is available for streaming and download on most major outlets and Ted is available for interviews upon request.
