Stefano Pesapane is an independent artist, songwriter, producer, and professional drummer whose musical journey began at the age of eight. By 16, he was already performing in nightclubs, beginning a lifelong connection with music and rhythm that continues to shape his creative identity today.

His early musical education included studies at the St. Louis Music School in Rome, followed by the Umbria Jazz Summer School, where he completed a Berklee College of Music program in 1988. His professional career began in the 1980s with The Nightworkers, including a two year international experience performing with Club Med in Morocco and Greece. He later joined The Rocky Roberts Orchestra, touring and performing throughout Italy until 1989. Along the way, Pesapane continued collaborating with a wide range of musicians and projects while developing his own sound and artistic direction.

After moving to the Netherlands in 1999, Pesapane became active in the local music scene while continuing to work on various musical projects. Today, he writes, produces, and releases his music independently from his home studio. His sound draws from his jazz roots while embracing his passion for R&B, Soul, Hip-Hop, and Neo-Soul. Artists such as Steely Dan, Donald Fagen, and Prince have played an important role in shaping his musical influences and creative approach.

Since 2020, Pesapane has worked with Bentley Records as a Platinum Artist and, since 2024, as an A&R representative. Through this role, he combines his own creative work with his passion for discovering and supporting emerging talent.

His latest single, “About Her,” is a deeply personal R&B/Soul journey through love, memory, heartbreak, and the women who have shaped, inspired, challenged, and influenced his life. Through his music, Pesapane transforms personal experiences and emotions into stories that invite listeners to connect them with their own memories, relationships, and experiences.
