With the release of the Palm of His Hand album, Saved By Grace delivers a warm and welcoming Christian and indie-rock record that speaks volumes for the band.
"This album was a very collective effort, unlike our 1st couple studio efforts where only a couple of us formed the songs. In addition to the input of our six band members, producer Mark Riddell played a key role in each songs final form. The multiple inputs caused each song to be stylistically unique and certainly different from where each started. I wrote the lyrics as an out pouring of my faith in Jesus, but the band brought the songs to life. Being recorded in Houston brought in the Southern Rock vibes to go along with our classic rock sound," explains vocalist Dan Olson of the release.
A stylistically unique band from day one, the members of Saved by Grace have been singing, performing, and playing as if they'd been together their entire musical careers.
The band was formed by Erie, Pennsylvania native Daniel Olson, a pastor at Bay City Christian Fellowship and a successful podiatrist by day, to proclaim a message to a new audience about the love and security that can be found in Jesus.
Gathering like-minded colleagues Zac Hatch (bass guitar), Michael Shreve (percussion), Gill Rice(guitar), Jeanette Pattison (vocals), the band was measurably enhanced by the presence of Paul Moore on harmonica and keyboards. Moore, a professional for more than 40 years, is a founding member of beloved Erie band Tennessee Backporch. After Paul's passing, the band brought in Danny Calabrese who brings a new dimension to the band with his lead guitar licks
Throughout the course of the band's collaboration, they have won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life and across genres. While performing at a variety of venues and making countless public appearances, their captivating, high-energy concerts have earned them an ever-growing fan base.
