"A Vida was written as a birthday gift for a 1 year old girl named Elena. Born from a South African dad and Brazilian mom, they wanted a lullaby she could wake up and go to sleep to, that encapsulated all the wonderful parts of seeing the world for the first time, and what a joy it was to experience life all over again. A vida com voce e a coisa mais Linda - life with you is the most beautiful thing.," explains Sarah of her single.

"I’ve been playing music since I was a child, but only really started focusing on my own music after my dad passed away a few years ago. In the middle of lockdown, with nowhere to go and nothing to hide behind, music was my way of getting those tough emotions out of my system. Now, I look back at those songs fondly, because they hold so much more than just melody and lyrics, and the more I play them, the more meaning they have for others as well. From there, it just so happened that music became a part of therapy for me. I used my knowledge from studying Jazz at the South African College Of Music and the Sarah Blake flavor just morphed into what it is now," says Sarah.
"A Vida" is available for streaming and download on all major outlet as is the Food For Thought album, and the artist is always working on new material for upcoming releases.
