Nothing But Silence

With the release of the "Mind" single, 

Nothing But Silence bring together some of the best attributes of post-punk along with a cinematic backbone to create something addictive. 

 

“MIND” was fun to make, I didn’t really have an influence when I was producing the song. I try to mix a lot different stuff of when I’m making songs such as like the vibe, style, and mode. I was really thinking of that scene in the movie “Forest Gump” when he taught Elvis how to dance lol. So I decided to make a song that I could dance to similar what I saw in the movie," explains the band of their release. ​​​​​​​​​​

Nothing But Silence began when two friends and fellow musicians began working together on a new project. 

 

"Nothing But Silence started because of my buddy Jared Mattson of (Mattson 2) he also played some guitar in Toro y Moi, but I played drums for his solo tour few summers ago he asked me if I was working on anything I played Valerie and that was it from there. He saw something in the project I didn’t and helped me step by step pretty much my mentor, and I thank him also every two week for pushing me. Love that dude'," says Eric B of how the band got its start.

The first release "Valerie" was dropped in 2024 , followed by "Too Useful". Each track showed a different side of the influences the band came from. 

​

The current  lineup is now  Edgar Torres on bass, Danny Watt on guitar, and Eric B on vocals and guitar.

​

"Mind" serves as a testament to where they are with their sound right now. 

​

The songs are all available for streaming and download on all major outlets and the band is currently working on new material for upcoming releases.
