I wrote this song a few months before we got married, during a season when I was beginning to understand just how much her presence meant to me. The chorus captures the heart of the song: “If I’m the painter, you’ll be the skyline.” A painter can always create, but a skyline gives them something tangible to draw inspiration from. It provides perspective, connection, and a sense of place—something that can quiet anxiety and make the weight of the world feel a little more manageable" explains Jack of his single.
