With the release of the When We Collapse album, Hollowed Sky take their signature sound to the next level by blending heavy handed alt-rock with blistering metal riffs and a deepening tonality along with lyrics that come off unafraid. ​

""When We Collapse" is a product of our collective creative efforts over the past three years of having the current band lineup (with Robyn on the mic). The lyrical themes are dark, and the tuning is dropped. We record everything ourselves in our home studio(s); and outsource the mixing, mastering, and artwork. We are all very happy with how it turned out, and are excited for people to hear it!" - Hollowed Sky

Based near Annapolis, Maryland, we formed as a band in November of 2016. Berchielli, Bradshaw, and Rupertus were coming off of extended musical hiatuses after their previous projects had fizzled out, and were honestly just looking to jam. Within 30 seconds of the first jam session, we knew we were onto something. The jams eventually started developing structures, and it was several months later that we decided we needed to find a singer. Jay Orem joined the band in July of 2017, and remained our vocalist until June of 2022, when we parted ways. After several months of composing new music as a trio, Robyn Bingham joined forces with the band to add her vocal and lyrical elements in March of 2023.

When We Collapse showcases the band's ability to built atmospheres and get inventive with their man influences while pushing their boundaries farther than they ever have before.
