With the release of The Shoreline Sessions, Hello London takes the best parts of garage and grunge to build a sound all his own. Laced with addictive melodies, hard hitting undertones, and plenty of character, the record boasts the aesthetic of acoustic-rock anthems.
"The Shoreline Sessions was a way for me to express the songwriter side of 'The Changing Tide'. As the album is very personal to me, I felt it would be important to get these songs out in the form they originally took. The first two tracks, 'Heavy Heart' and Melody, are reflective pieces that deal with hopefulness and coming of age ideas. Melody is about my relationship with music, and how it has changed and evolved over the years.", explains songwriter James Froese
Hello London is the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist and songwriter James Froese who began is musical journey at a young age.
Recording songs on a tape recorder during his college years, James eventually picked up a 4-track recorder and taught himself the art of recording songs with layers.
Hello London was a project started to simply learn mor about recording music, but it quickly grew into something special.
"I like to think that my sound is improving as I continue making music. I definitely think my ability to record music has improved, and I still think I have my own voice and individual style that will be present in the songs no matter what approach I take to writing and recording," says James of his approach to recording and writing music.
"A Change of Pace" comes with a B-Side called "All I Want Is a Road to Take" and both songs complement each other.
The release serves as a testament to where he is at with his sound right now.
The maxi-single is available for streaming and download on all major outlets and James is already working on new material for upcoming releases.
