Glitter Etiquette’s latest project, Cerulean, is a bold leap into the unknown, fusing electronic rock with the band’s signature raw intensity. Expanding beyond the grunge-heavy tones of Silicone Bodies and the shoegaze-laced dreamscapes of Springfall, this EP is a sonic expedition—one that merges expansive synth textures with driving guitars, pulsating basslines, and unfiltered emotion.

At its core, Cerulean is both a narrative and a reflection of the times we live in. Set against a cosmic backdrop, it tells the story of a universe where the color Cerulean has been eradicated—a metaphor for truth, hope, and artistic purity. As the search for its essence unfolds, the journey is fraught with conflict, facing off against the Red Army, a force that seeks to suppress and distort reality.

Lyrically and thematically, the EP delves into propaganda, civil unrest, climate collapse, and the creeping disillusionment of modern life. Each track serves as a new experiment, a different fragment of the overarching tale, weaving together urgent messages with otherworldly soundscapes. In an era where the human spirit is tested more than ever, Cerulean is both an escape and a battle cry—a dreamlike voyage through the void in pursuit of something real.

The Glitter Etiquette lineup was different when it first started a few years ago.  During their beginnings they were influenced by a more experimental post-punk sound which eventually turned to a more grunge feel and finally hit a shoegaze soundscape by their 2nd EP Springall.

The band now incorporates electronic and keys to go along with that experimental approach and "Cows" is a glimpse of what's to come on their next EP.

"Our sound continues to evolve as we experiment with new technology, instruments and methods of production. I feel with every project we do, we try to achieve a new soundscape and world within it. Our first project Silicone Bodies had heavy grunge influence. Our following Ep Springfall had a lot of shoegaze influence like Jesus and Mary Chain, Catherine Wheel. Then our new project Cerulean is very much electronic rock. I feel a bit of shoegaze touches all of our projects. But we are always experimenting to communicate each songs message through the tools we have, keyboards, guitars, bass drums vocals. These are the main tools in our arsenal. This project only widens the scope of our sound with a new elevated dreamscape." says the band of their evolution in sound.

"Cows" is available for streaming and download on all major outlets and the band is ramping up for the Cerulean Deep Blue album is set for release on May 28th.
