With the release of "Pleasure and Pain", Eckotrigger embodies a cinematic but vast post-punk blended with New Wave pop.
The single brings the elements of spaciousness, and emotion with guitars and pop undertone seamlessly, all with a sentiment that comes from life experience.
"Lyrically, the track is about the lure of pleasure and pain that one can have in relationships.," explains the band of their single.
Eckotrigger are an Electro rock/Electronica duo from London comprising of Joel Alexander and Paul Dogra. Having been in many different bands over the years they formed based on their shared appreciation and admiration of artists such as Depeche Mode, The Cure, and David Bowie. Working individually on song ideas and recording in Paul’s home studio, before additional mixing and production at Fiction Studios in London – their first single Collide was featured on BBC Radio accompanied by a discussion on mental health and the role and importance of music.
Signed to Danish label Town and Towers – they have released several singles and the Ep ‘Songs of Solitude’ and performed at the Elektroland Festival and Electrofest both in Copenhagen. In 2024 they played several London gigs including a performance for the WarChild charity and ended the year supporting the esteemed band Empathy Test in Copenhagen. Having performed at Rust in Copenhagen March 2025 and Live Wired 2026 – further gigs are scheduled for 2026 in the UK and Germany along with completing recordings and several releases.
