AE - EIT FRONT FINAL VERSION.jpg

With the release of their "everything is temporary" album, Atlas : Empire takes the best parts of several genres and creates a sound that's all their own. Bursting with addictive hooks, captivating chord progressions and a truly massive sonic landscape - the album delivers emotional, Alternative Rock anthems and so much more.

The musical elements that make up the album flow seamlessly throughout its tracklisting and offers the listener a mixture of heavily cinematic and anthemic approaches - melding elements of Indie Rock, Post Rock and 90s-influenced Alternative Rock.

"There are chunks of calmness and then explosions of heaviness throughout the record, so this adds that element of surprise to an extent and adds even more to the alive and breathing approach of the record itself." - Ragtalent

"Atlas : Empire take listeners with them on a violent tour de force of brute rebellion of emotions & legendary song structures." - Sonic Seducer Magazine

"Atlas : Empire have focused their expansive, structurally complex Progressive Rock into a more streamlined & vocally driven sound, which blends Post-Rock/Shoegaze textures with the energy of late 90's & early 00's Alt.Rock & 2nd wave Emo." - PowerPlay Magazine

Atlas : Empire is a Post/Alt.Rock band based in Glasgow, Scotland.

Since their inception in 2011, the band has constantly evolved - with each incarnation offering new musical elements, never simply content to regurgitate the same sounds over & over. This evolution has been documented across their ever-growing discography.

The desire for exploration has seen Atlas : Empire taking their unique sonic palette to live audiences throughout the UK, Europe, Ukraine & Canada, sharing stages with a diverse array of artists including...O'Brother, Tiny Moving Parts, Wintersleep, The Dear Hunter, Microwave, Nothing, Closure in Moscow, Kurt Travis, Listener, The Appleseed Cast & Good Tiger.

In 2020, founding members & songwriters Steven Gillies & Jamie Sturt brought on-board UK drumming powerhouse, James Lorenzo (Ex-FOES) and spent the next 2 years meticulously crafting their finest material to date - an album that re-writes the rulebook of what constitutes "Progressive Rock" in the 2020s.

Fusing familiar elements of post-rock grandeur & ambient Electronica with a new-found urgency, drawing inspiration from the 90s & early 00s Alternative Rock, Indie & 2nd wave Emo bands that captured their hearts as teenagers - this is a new era of Atlas : Empire.

Everything is Temporary, the sophomore album by Atlas : Empire, is available now on all streaming platforms.
