T.S.Tadin
With the release of the Pretty Boring album, T.S. Tadin takes a fresh approach to an alternative pop-rock style. Laced with addictive melodies, colorful undertones, and plenty of character, the record boasts the aesthetic of timeless rock anthems.
"Pretty Boring is about trying hard to live in the moment. The Album was created in Isolation. It's a mixture of escapism and finding beauty in the mundane.
I finished recording my debut album, To Heaven or the Void in March 2020 a week before the pandemic started. It made it very difficult to promote anything. I couldn't play it out anywhere. I had some down time, so I decided to keep going by continuing to write and create."
explains Tadin of the record.
Having parents that were both musicians, T.S. Tadin began his musical journey when he was just a kid. Always interested, it was only upon sneaking into one of his dad's recording sessions when he was 12 that he got hooked.
After releasing a full-length record in 2020 called To Heaven or The Void, Tadin knew he wanted to keep it going and began working on Pretty Boring shortly after.
"My first record was mainly written on an acoustic guitar and fleshed out from there. Pretty Boring is rooted in electric guitar and piano. It's a bit more of a retro pop sound. I was trying to create a pop art piece where everything is really bright and sunny and appears straightforward but there's something askew and then it hits you. The general sonic mood board was what if the Velvet Underground was from California or the Beach Boys were from New York." says the artist of how his sound is changing.
Pretty Boring is available on all major outlets for streaming and download and the artist has already performed over 30 shows since the album's release.
