With the release of the Corduroy Rocketship EP, Sweater For An Astronaut creates a storyline lush with heavy and melodic guitars, addictive progressions  and a high octane energy.  With hints of doom metal and classic rock,  the record boasts the aesthetic of alternative rock anthems.

The first single, “Edge Of Doom" grabs you with its deep rooted riff followed by it's explosion into its heavy chorus and building arrangement allowing it to breathe as it plays on.

"The song is about David Bowie’s death, after he passes floating through the cosmos reflecting on his life." explains the band of their single.

Although the single speaks volumes for the EP, to get a real understanding of where S4AA is coming from, the full EP release is a must hear.

"The single gives a taste of what's to come from the EP as a whole. The single is the most genre crossing track on the record. S4AA has a previous EP titled “State Of The Dark” our previous band Northwest Royale has 3 albums and a couple of EP’s. Our music together dates back nearly 30 years." says the band of the band's history together.

Sweater for an Astronaut is made up of only two members. Chris (aka Beef) on all drums, and Colton on guitars and vocals. With years of performing and writing in previous bands and projects together, S4AA is the latest in the duo's efforts to better the world with hard hitting music. The project started in 2015 and has been releasing songs since.

The Corduroy Rocketship EP is a testament to where the band is at with their sound right now. The release is available on all major platforms.
