With the release of the Return to Saturn album, Jobe Woosley & Co. take a fresh approach to a progressive Americana style. Laced with addictive melodies, warm undertones, and plenty of character, the record boasts the aesthetic of folk-rock anthems.

"This album was originally supposed to be a concept album. I had just turned 28 and came out of a long relationship. I thought perhaps I was going through my Saturn Return. I wrote the song Long Year which kicked off the writing of a group of songs. Long Year ended up being a single we put out in 2019. I had started recording the album and planned on finishing it in 2020.  (Not happening).

One night I had a dream that I walked through a door and stepped out on a field. Saturn was rising like the sun but so close I thought I could touch it. A horse stood in the field grazing and looking about. I knew I was on another planet. When I woke up, I started writing more music which eventually all made it on the album. The name Return to Saturn is me wanting to go back to that dream and wake up with a new batch of songs and a fresh outlook. I reached out to a high school friend, an artist living in Boise Idaho. She paints watercolor and I had been following her art for a while. I asked if she would paint me the image that I had seen in the dream. She said she would be happy to and nailed it!”

- songwriter Jobe Woosley

After performing in heavy metal bands for some time and loving the music, Jobe Woosley decided he wanted a better environment for himself and focused on playing different festivals and venues so, he began writing folk and singer songwriter songs which led him to rediscover music of the 60's and 70's much of which he grew up with as a child.

Woosley grew up in a musical household with parents that played and a father that listened to bands like Judas Priest and Iron Maiden and a mother that listened to Tori Amos and Alanis Morisette so, he had all kinds of influences musically as he grew up, but it was artists like Nick Drake and the folk movement of the 60's and 70's that helped pave the path for the artist as a songwriter later on.

Jobe Woosley & Co. started up in 2014 and after he had written enough songs; he got a band together and started performing.

Releasing albums and singles since 2015, the band's new album Return to Saturn is a testament to where their sound is at right now.

The album is available for streaming and download on all major outlets and they are always working on new material for upcoming releases.
