With the release of the Leave It Out To Dry album.  Daniel Young takes the best parts of some classic genres and creates something all his own. Laced with addictive melodies, honest undertones, and plenty of character, the record boasts the aesthetic of Americana rock anthems.

"This release, ‘Leave It Out To Dry’, is a collection of songs about the great beyond, whatever that might look like, no one really knows and it's a fascination to me of what's out there, if anything. It doesn’t need to be a dark thing but can be a beautiful thing.

The band gathered in my studio, January of 2023 and we played most of this album live in the studio, with minimal overdubs. It came together really fast and easy. I was the engineer on this album and co-produced it with my close friend Ryan Tanner", explains Daniel of how the album came to be.

Daniel Young's musical journey started at the age of 14 when he first picked up a guitar. It wasn't too long before singing and even drumming became a part of his expanding effort to create.

Very shortly after that Young became fascinated with analog recording and started collecting tape machines and setting up a recording space his parents' basement.

Looking back, he is grateful of how supportive they were with all the noise they were making down there.

The artist now owns a studio in Salt Lake City with analog and digital recording capabilities and has come a long way from his parents' basement where it all began.

Having released a number of singles, EP's and albums since 2016, Leave It Out To Dry serves as a testament to where he as at with his sound right now.

"I feel like this is my first album where I have been able to write and play songs a little out of the country realm, but still feels like my writing, even if it is more rocking. I always try to keep it authentic.  The country feel is still there but is fun to stretch out a little to see what else we can make," says Daniel of the album.

The album is available for streaming and download on all major outlets and Daniel already has live performances booked in support of the release.
